Winners Tracy and Wilf Naylor with Amanda White from Radio Humberside with their prize. Lydia Naylor also helped create their winning wheelbarrow (below). Thanks to Barton Building Supplies for the barrow and Tuplin’s Nursery for the fabulous plants. Runner-up was Pam Loxley with her punning behind the thymes barrow and her prize was donated by Lovelle Estate Agents. Altogether over sixty wheelbarrows lined the streets and lanes of Barrow with an amazing display of beauty, ingenuity and wit!
In addition, there were lots of open gardens, an exhibition in the church and entertainment in the Market Place courtesy of Barrow Band and the Earthbound Misfits. A great weekend – thanks to everyone who made it so successful. More photos to follow, we hope.
