Opening Notice Board

We decided it would be nice to have an official launch of the new notice board. Not quite the SS Better Barrow and there was no champagne, but nevertheless we were supported by the three Ward Councillors and were given a certificate to show we were the worthy recipients of a £5,000 grant to help us on our way – part of which funded the notice board from Deepdale Studios, of course. From left, Steve Johnson (Vice-Chair), Councillor Wells, Trevor Millum (Chair), Helen Anglum (Committee i.c fund-raising), Bobbie Walkington (Committee) and Councillors Clark and Wardle.

God bless all who sail in her / post notices in her…!
